About EPW Legacy

EPW Legacy is a nonprofit organization founded in loving memory of Eric Paul Winans, who bravely battled cancer with unwavering strength and grace. Though Eric is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through the countless memories he created and the lives he touched.

Founded in collaboration by his partners at Wright Brothers The Building Company, and his devoted family. It is their vow to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest—just as Eric did—and by continuing to create meaningful moments filled with love, laughter, and purpose.

Through community events, charitable initiatives, and shared experiences, EPW Legacy seeks to inspire others to cherish every moment and carry forward the light that Eric brought into the world.

Eric Paul Winans lived in Boise, Idaho with his wife, Cyndi, and children, Matthew and Emily. He worked at Wright Brothers the Building Company for 24 years. He loved working there and was always extremely proud to explain what he did and where he worked. He had a vast love for golfing. He had been involved in plenty of golf leagues with his friends for many years. Eric and his son, Matt, bonded together over their love for golfing, and his whole family often went to hit balls throughout the warm summer months.

Eric was an immense family man, he loved anything he did with his family, but camping was one of the things he loved to do with them the most. They loved to camp at the Oregon Coast, at many national parks, and all throughout Idaho. His all-time favorite camping spot was Trail Creek, up in Crouch, Idaho. A few times throughout the summer, Eric, his family, and his friends would spend a few days camping at trail creek; dipping their feet in the river, hiking, exploring town, and laughing by the campfire.

Eric was a huge fanatic for Disney. He loved taking his family, and even friends, to Disneyland or Disneyworld, where they would ride roller coaster after roller coaster and eat at some of the best restaurants. Eric was a man who found joy in spending time with his family and friends, working, and being outdoors.
